I can answer the second question myself - the rounded corners wouldn't work! But I just changed the individual cells to use a stylesheet, and it renders OK in Konqueror and IE5.0, so I reckon that's the way to go... so I'll make a patch and perhaps other people can try it. Cheers, Brian.
