Ok, that
let me on the right track. I
recompiled authlib with –enable-changepass and –with-authchangepwdir=/home/vpopmail/bin. I can log in fine, but when I try and
change my password, it says Error: Unable to change password, and lists a bunch
of reasons why, none of which are true.
Authdaemond is running, and configured for authvchkpw. What am I missing?

Password Problem
hi
burton, when you
compile sqwebmail put in the configure the follow option
"--enable-changepass --enable-authchangepwdir=/var/vpopmail/bin
"(change with the directory that contains vpasswd).
Only one think: i have tried to compile sqwebmail in various linux
distributtions and sometimes(in redhat) i obtain the follow error :
"deference pointer in auth_changepass " (i don't rember
perfectly...)... bye
peppe
I run Slackware 8.1 with Vpopmail, sqwebmail, qmail…etc. Everything works fine together, not
problems, except that users cannot change their password through
sqwebmail. Anyone have an idea of
how to fix this? I thought I got
it to work before by modifying rights the files in qmail/users dir, but that
intern caused qmail admin to stop working. This has been an issues for a while, please provide help if
you can. Thank you.
ryan.
