I try to modifiy the name of my users (in a MySQL table).
With some users, it works. With some others, I can't see any change in the From address when I try to send a new mail. I don't even know where it takes the current identity which isn't in the table !
The default initial contents of the From: header is what the From: header had the last time a message was sent.
To change the default From: header, merely change it the next time you send a message.
