Has anyone experimented with trying to turn sqwebmail into an Apache
module? Webmail looks like its here to stay, and making is run at the
greatest possible speed for large sites is starting to get my attention.
Sqwebmail seems an excellent CGI approach to the problem, and a
superficial scan of the code suggests to me that converting iy to an
Apache module might not be the large job mankind has undertaken. A
module would surely run considerably faster, mostly through persistence.
So, has anyone tried this? Am I missing some major complication it would
cause?
