We are using Redhat Linux 6.1 (Linux zeus 2.2.12-20smp #1 SMP Mon Sep 27
10:34:45 EDT 1999 i686 unknown), with user passwd stored in /etc/shadow, and
other user info stored in /etc/passwd. Therefore we must have a system
working with /etc/shadow.
Could you please provide me with more hints.
