buttons does not show up

hi all,
I need help.
top and bottom  buttoms
labeled: Prev, Next, Delete, Folder, Reply, Reply to all...
dont show up. buttons are there but there is no label in it. only when
mouse hovers over the unlabled buttons the alt messages are displayed
properly. so please help me what is going on.
