Hi!

I had a similar problem earlier when I was doing a kernel upgrade.
The linux directory was not created when I do a kernel-header package
upgrade.

I have to uninstall the kernel-headers package and then re-installing
it.

However, the error you got below seem to suggest an older verion of
vpopmail.
You might want to do a vpopmail upgrade.
