Don't know about an RFC, but this has come up a bunch on the qmail mailing

Basically, it comes down to: set the envelope to NULL, (maybe) set the From:
address to a non-automated address (or [EMAIL PROTECTED]), and rate
limit. That should cover your butt most of the time... :)
