The configure script does appear to use recursion, this is in the INSTALL
file, depending on the speed and configuration of your machine along with
what parameters were passed to ./configure depends when it will finish.

I've been trying to setup SqWebMail on my Slackware
7.0 system along side qmail.
Problem is when I run ./configure it gets to the spot
where it writes the Makefile and then calls the
recursion and it does it all over again. My pc ran in
a loop for more than 5 minutes one time. It just never
seems to end.
The Source I'm using is from SourceForge and it's
v1.0.
Any help or pointers to help would be greatly
appreciated.
