Hi,

This one has got me. SqWebMail was working fine when I authenticated out
of /etc/shadow (with users, obviously, in /etc/passwd). I know want to
control which user can access SqWebMail, and I set up the /etc/userdb
files, ran makeuserdb.

If I enter an incorrect password, SqWebMail rightly complains about
that. But when I do enter the correct password, Apache shows me the
Internal Server Error screen. Apache's logs complain about

Premature end of script headers: /var/cgi-bin/sqwebmail

and syslog shows

sqwebmail: sqwebmail: Cache create failure - bad code.

What am I doing wrong?

Secondly, IMHO a program like SqWebMail that runs as a CGI should
*never* just bomb out like that. Can I post a feature request: that all
errors result in a proper HTML error screen to be sent to the browser?

Regards,
