mozilla redirection broken?

When I go to the sqwebmail index page with mozilla (m18) or
opera (4.0b2 for linux), there are no frames and only
        URI: http://mail.softhome.net/email?index=1
shows up in the page.  (/email is an apache alias to sqwebmail.)

Netscape 4.7 works fine, and at least some versions of IE.

Any idea what's going on or an idea how to work around it?
