This is a basic systems administration question. You might be better off asking a FreeBSD list as opposed to a mailing list devoted to a webmail program. All you should have to do is put it in your startup file (I think under BSD it's /etc/rc.local, but I'm not sure about BSDish config files) but under Linux it's /etc/rc.d/rc.local. The information is probably even on a FAQ on the FreeBSD page. =) Cheers, Tren. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - Tren Blackburn - Owner mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] = = End of Time Networks http://www.theendoftime.net - - (403) 269-2122 = =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- On Thu, 7 Dec 2000, oneflower Xu wrote: > Hello: > > I met a problem when I installed qmail 1.03 on FreeBSD 4.2release. > > I input ' csh -cf '/var/qmail/rc &', qmail runs well. > I add 'smtp stream tcp nowait qmaild /var/qmail/bin/tcp-env tcp-env >/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd' to inetd.conf. > It only open smtp port. > > How can I let qmail start automatically when FreeBSD start??? > > > Best Regards, > > > > > > oneflower > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >
