Nope -- there haven't been any performance tweaking.  Most of the existing 
code was untouched.  It's possible that the browser likes style sheets, I 
suppose.  Or, perhaps, you ran into some peculiarity with your VM.  In 2.0, 
a medium-sized static buffer has been replaced with dynamically-allocated 
memory.  Since sqwebmail is comparatively small to begin with, it's possible 
that your VM can handle process like that much better...
