Thanks for the old college try.
The problem was in my customized login page. I had entered a hidden field
for logindomain and removed the[#h#] reference for the CGI. Placing the
[#h#] reference back in the page and deleting the logindomainlist file from
the sqwebmail directory accomplished what I wanted, a single login with no
drop-down domain selection.

With some browsers you must explicitly delete the old cert in the browser's
database, if you install a new cert for the same domain.
