I have experienced almost the exact same problems when trying to setup
sqwebmail at work. It just doesn't seem to want to work, and yes the
NFS server/clients all had their time sychronized to the same clock.
So, I am unable promote sqwebmail for this one reason, although I would
rather use it because it is definitely a superior webmail client.
At one time, I had used strace to try to determine the problem and all
that I can remember is that it tried to stat() a file that should have
been there, but wasn't.
