hey guys: the first hit when you search for " Cache create failure " at "
http://www.mail-archive.com/sqwebmail%40inter7.com/ " says:

"That usually means that the login cache directory has incorrect ownership or
permissions. Rerunning make install, as root, should fix this (but note
that this will reinstall all HTML templates, etc...)"
Having said that ... Who do you have sqwebmail running as?
If it is vpopmail.vchkpw you can try what I use:
chown vpopmail.vchkpw /var/www/cgi-bin/sqwebmail; chmod
6555 /var/www/cgi-bin/sqwebmail; chown vpopmail.vchkpw /var/cache/sqwebmail;
chmod +t /var/cache/sqwebmail
