Sqwebmail and QMAILQUEUE

Please forgive me if this is a FAQ.  

When using sqwebmail with qmail and qmail-scanner, where's the best
place to define the QMAILQUEUE environment variable, so that it will
be part of the sqwebmail environment when running?  I need this filter
to be used when my sqwebmail users send new mail.
