You cant use tcpserver and/or chkpoppass with courier,
use authuserdb instead. A simple cron-script could
extract the username, password and maildir from your
existing configuration and write it to the authuserdb.

If you dont want two separate databases replace your
tcpserver/qmail-pop3d with couriertcpd/courier-pop3
(and also get courier-imapd and pop3-ssl for free...)
