Well, is there a way to make it use the From address? The thing is
that we have a local mail server which is inaccessible from the
Internet. To communicate with the Internet we use the extension
address that qmail provides which then forwards the messages to the
local mail server. The username and extension address are different.
Example:

my username@hostname = [EMAIL PROTECTED]
my internet address = [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The problem is that if the envelope sender uses

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

some servers reject it since student.ilkom.fmipa.ipb.ac.id is unknown.

PS: sorry for being late in responding. There was some misconfiguration in
one of our mail servers.
