Does sqwebmail make use of the systempw variable in /etc/userdb?

I assume it does, because I have seen postings in the archives concerning
just that. However, upon changing a user's systempw, courier-imap
recognizes the switch, but sqwebmail does not. The web client seems to
work with the password that userdb contained upon compilation (of
sqwebmail).

Basically, I did a mostly-vanilla install of courier-imap 1.3.8.1 and
sqwebmail 2.0.0. Both use the default authuserdb. Why would sqwebmail let
me in with the systempw password in userdb, but then reject me we I change
it? And yes, I did a makeuserdb... I even configured sqwebmail with
--with-userdb=/etc/userdb to make sure it was using the right one. No
luck.

Ideas?
