I have a single passwd, but it's not a system passwd.
I installed qmail with vpopmail, and then had sqwebmail and Courier-IMAP
work with vpopmail's authentication and directory structure.  
Pop and smtp are handled by qmail, and imap is handled by Corier-IMAP.  
I can user the server with any type of MUA.

I thought this was a common configuration?
