Hello all,
I have a email server setup on a sun sparc / solaris
2.8 server with qmail/vpopmail/sqwebmail running for
the past 12 months.
Am using vchkpw for user accoutn authentication.
Three times in these 12 months, sqwebmail suddenly
stopped allowing access to user mail accounts with the
error "invalid user ID or password"
the first two times this happened, I recompiled the
sqwebmail cgi and reinstalled it - solved the problem.
this time, even that does not work.
POP access to the same mailboxes with the same
password works fine - no problem there.
Any pointers to what I am doing wrong or missing? If
this info is already posted in an archive somewhere,
please point me to it .
