The authvchkpw module in CVS has not been tested with the new authentication 
code.  I've committed the apparent fixes for these compilation errors, but 
that's about it for now. 

The new code will build authdaemond by default, so you'll need to start 
authdaemond before trying to log in.  authvchkpw has not been tested to make 
sure it runs properly as a persistent background process (no memory leaks, 
etc...)
