SqWebMail 3.0 introduces a new authentication layer that properly handles
password changes. The sqwebmail password file has been eliminated, password
changes will end up updating the actual authentication database (i.e., if
LDAP authentication is used, then the new password will be saved in the LDAP
record).
Upgrading to SqWebMail 3.0 will require all mail passwords to be reset. More
detailed upgrade-related information can be found in the INSTALL file. It is
strongly recommended that a test system running 2.1.1 be upgraded on a test
box, before attempting this upgrade on a live system.
