this isn't going to help much... have not touched the configuration, but have applied patches to the source tree both preconfigured and manual, then did make and make install again. only seemed to touch the binaries, didn't see any changes in any of the domains/ tree... again, I did not change the quota configuration though. a guess would be that the install/make would not bother to check to see if existing directory tree existed and parse through it to update the tree... assumption being that ALL the appropriate settings are stored in the appropriate domain directory and not elsewhere. you could alsways create another box and try it before modifying the production server :) would like to hear the answer if not posted to list.
