Hi, firstly, I have check through the list, but found nothing that has worked so far.
The problem we have is running ./configure results in:
error: Cannot find either gdbm or the db library.
I have installed multiple versions of Berkley db, I have modified the LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
set numerous system variables, shaven my dogs ears, and plucked 5 peacocks, but
nothing wants to work me past this problem.
We are using Solaris 8 Intel.
I have also downloaded and installed the gnu gdbm package from gnu , no luck at all.
even if we try change the auth type to something else, eg. only PAM, it still wanted
the gdbm or db library.
Any ideas?
