The UID and GID in the database have nothing to do with the UID/GID of
the vpopmail user/vchkpw group or the user/group you set the domain to
run under.

The only thing that the GID field controls is what things you have
access to (roaming, pop access, imap access, etc...look at the vmoduser
program for details)

But I'd guess you've hit the nail on the head.  Verify that the
sqwebmail binary is 4755 and owned by root.

The uid:gid cant access home/Maildir (as listed in the db),
or SQWebmail lost the root-privilege (suid) because it was copied
without -p.
