I recently installed SqWebmail. I can't get authdaemon to authenticate any user name/password combination. I've checked the documentation but may have missed something pertinent. I coudln't find any archives on the inter7 site. The on-screen error says INVALID USER ID OR PASSWORD.
I compiled and installed SqWebmail on a qmail server running Linux 2.4. Although PAM as well as mysql and openLDAP are installed, I don't see that those modules were compiled. In any case, I only see authdaemond.plain, authdaemon, authdaemon.passwd, authsystem.passwd, and authdaemond in ~/libexec/authlib.
