Netscape 4.x, quite simply, sucks at rendering nested tables. Netscape 6.1 is much better, Mozilla is much better, IE is much better, Opera is much better, OmniWeb is much better. Netscape sucks. But, about 15% of our hits are from Netscape, and the new SqWebMail templates are -way- worse than the 2.x templates, speed-wise, so I started looking. There -is- something you can do - take out some of the layers of tables. There is an "outside" table around most of the pages that you can just remove ... without any effect on the appearance. (Sloppy coding, IMO). I'll be sending a patchset for this and a small handful of little HTML inconsistencies (some pages are fixed to 95% wide, which is very nice ... but some don't have that set, and it's just weird that they aren't consistent.) If you want my templates (which have some little customizations for us, but are WAY faster for NS) I can send them to you as they are ... you can use them or make your own diffs before I get around to it. -- Charlie Watts [EMAIL PROTECTED] Frontier Internet, Inc. http://www.frontier.net/
