Assuming you are doin user@domain ie, postmaster@website then that is wrong.
You have to have the full domain and extension, ie [EMAIL PROTECTED]
otherwise it wont work.
also do you have IMAP running? sqwebmail uses IMAP protocol. I suggest
courier IMAP server it can be compiled to authenticate against the vchkpw.

Subject: [sqwebmail] RE : [sqwebmail] Sqwebmail with qmail/vpopmail

I have now a authdaemond.plain when i do a ps auxw, but i still cannot
authenticate... And i still do not have any settings to specify where my
vpopmail is installed... It's still strange for me, i need a vchkpw
authentication, not a plain one...

Of course i use username@domain to authenticate... I've also tryed with
username%domain ... But no luck

How to test the authdaemond process, is there any log somewhere, can i test
it from the command line ?

Best regards...
