Wrong ! If you compile as i said which is (AFAIR) --disable-authpwd --disable-authpam --disable-authpgsql --disable-au htmysql --disable-authldap --disable-authdaemon --enable-vchkpw (did I forget any?), you end up with a version of sqwebmail which can authanticate against vpopmail ONLY, and doesn't need a daemon to do so as it uses the library and nothing else. It does work, i set it up this way a number of times and it is -to my knowledge- the only way you can make it work reliably with recent versions of vpopmail. David
