Here' s my set up :
freebsd 4.6 release
qmail 1.03
vpopmail 5.2.1
qmailadmin 1.0.2
sqwebmail 3.3.7
We host about 20 domains' email.
Everything works great. Ii just did sqwebmail recently and everything
works great on it , *if* you can log in
Some of the accounts don't have a pw_clear_passwd field in the vpopmail
mysql database so I didn't figure that they'd be able to login until
they change their password via qmailadmin.The accounts that do have a
pw_clear_passwd field defined can only log in sparatically. The only
hting I can figure is that it's the only connect from this ip box.
Sometimes I have to have the 'only connect at this ip' checked,
sometimes I don't. I have to try checked , and unchecked several times
back and forth until it will log me inok. The password I am pasting in
direct from vpopmail's vuserinfo script, So I know th same exact
password is being entered each tme.
I also don't use windows' 'remember password' feature just fyi.
SO what is the deal with ip restriction and how can I see what each user
has set theirs to and how can I change it if need be?
How can a get a better log in that doesn't take so much work?
