[sqwebmail] Sqwebmail Compile problems on Solaris 2.7

I am having great difficulty compiling sqwebmail on Solaris 2.7 Sparc. I have Qmail and Vpopmail with Mysql support installed and working correctly. When I try to compile both sqwebamil 3.3.1 and 3.3.7, I get the same exact error. I have tried altering the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and almost every configure option that made sense. Seems no matter what I try I still get an error.
