I did some like this: took off the authdaemon and recompiled sqwebmail like that:

... --other-options-here...
--with-authvchkpw --without-authpam --without-authpwd --without-authshadow --without-authuserdb --without-authldap --without-authdaemon
... --other-options-here...

I really hope it works.
