Since I was never able to get a satisfactory answer as to why I couldn't log into my freshly compiled Sqwebmail 3.4.0 system, I'm still running 2.1.1. Meanwhile, I've got a question about digital signatures.
Basically, I run e-mail for several domains through my server, but since only one of them is heavily used, I'm not using anything special to log into seperate domains (i.e. I just change the From: header and have all the mail from one domain redirected to another). I decided just now I'd like to be able to have a unique GPG signature for my second domain; I created the key at the shell, copied over *.gpg, and saw the option to sign with that key pop up in my mail writing window.
However, when I try to sign with that key, I get a really bad error:
"Error cryptographically signing message: "
and below that, a link to Continue.
Am I not allowed to have more than one signature? Is the mismatch between the domain the mail headers are using and the signature is using causing a problem? Is this version just too old (if so, please reply to my earlier stated problem)?
Thanks,
Alex Kirk
