Hello,
I am trying to compile and run sqwebmail from source on a RH 8.0. It
compiles fine, but when I get to browser to open login screen, I get
"Can't open form template." error.
I searched at google for this error and found a dozen of webmails with
the same problem :) but no answer for this.

Hello Maricio, there are many possible problems here. first of all on mailing list questions u need to very much more informative if u expect an answer. there r some lists, such as the qmail ml, that have people like charles cazabon that would chew off ur posterior and badger u until u leave the list. next time include automatically the following: os, version (sqwebmail and os), environment, services running: dns, smtpd, httpd etc. my best guess here is: check the file permissions of the templates. do get the login or nothing at all? if nothing at all then the login.html is not coming up. check the httpd.conf (if u r running apache) for: . SetEnv SQWEBMAIL_TEMPLATEDIR <directory>. if u r not running apache then what r u running? u will need to dig deeper on u own and supply the list w/ better info. hope this help
