touch /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/nochangingfrom ( change to wathever is
your prefix).

See also the meaning of the file usexsender (on same doc, or grep
usexsender * on source root.).
In my case, I will allow users to change From filed, but will use
X-Sender header with the authenticated login. Keep it safe while not
limiting user's wishes.

Hello Marcio, i have this field as read-only but it requires a change to sqwebmail.c to take effect. i can give u a snippet i u r interested. thanx, david.
