I agree that a dynamic interface is better if one is available, but I was
just suggesting that we keep it simple for now so that we can get a few
templates up right away. If there is a package manager that someone would
like to suggest, I will install/support it for the manager if he wants to
use it. The important thing here is that someone agrees to BE that manager.
The fancy tools that he chooses to do his job don't really matter yet.

Regards,

Hello Thomas, i agree the displayed info could be easily done w/ a html
page
but would it not become unwieldly over time as the number of suggetions and

templates grew to an unmanageble size if maintained completely by hand? the

data "domains" involved are also different: suggestions vs templates.
templates may be immediately usefull to someone whereas "suggestions" may
or
may not be usefull immmediately. also, how do i get the list of suggestions

and templates? we could just "wing-it" and see what happens but i would
rather look around to see if something like this was done b4. it seems it
would be much better to have some type of dynamic interface as apposed to a

static html file and allow the users to update the "repository" themselves.

whatja think? david.
