Hello,

We are having the same issue. Every now and then one to several files of
directories in a users Maildir change ownership. This gives an http error
of sqconfig.c line 63. While this is easy to fix one at a time, when it is
brought to our attention. Usually by a customer. I would like to know what
causes it to happen, is it a known issue with all version of sqwebmail, and
can it be patched/prevented from happening again.

Thank you for your time,
David Simmons

->Subject: [sqwebmail] sqwebmail-ip changes ownership
->
->
->Hello there,
->I've got a user complaining about the sqconfig.c line 63 error.
->Now, the cause of this is that the ownership of the sqwebmail-ip file is
->changed to root.root sometimes, instead of vpopmail.vchkpw. But
->this is the
->only user (so far?) having that problem. I noticed they were
->sometimes using
->the old "user%domain" syntax, instead of the @ sign
->The disk isn't full, but sqwebmail is running setuid root. I must admit, I
->forgot the reason. Anyway, when setting it to setuid vpopmail, it
->produces a
->500 script error when accessed.
->Any comments? Thanks,
->jm
