after reading source, the ldap schema used by vpopmail
is able to receive sn, cn, name
but neither vpopmail nor qmailadmin use them.. :((
i tried to import directly into ldap, then outlook (sorry!) is able to find it using ldap (with cn), but sqwebmail still find nothing.
does someone knows which fields sqwebmail is expecting ?
i read the README.ldap but it's only related to the auth, nothing about address book..
near perfect :()

Hello,
I have qmail(1.03) + vpopmail (5.2.1)+ sqwebmail (3.4.1)
qmail uses vpopmail auth and vpopmail is storing on openldap 2
sqwebmail ask vpopmail auth
everything works great until there :))))))
How to get sqwebmail to catch the users uid in the ldap (vpopmail schema) ?
i always get an empty hit.
No error reported from openldap trace.
when i try to do the same request as sqwebmail does :
exec /data/ldap/bin/ldapsearch -D CN=MANAGER,O=VPOP -w secret -h sauterne.lsafrance.com -p 389 -b o=vpop -x (&(uid=**))
it does not work until i add "" to (&(uid=**)) ===> "(&(uid=**))"
i am under freebsd 4.5
thanks for your answer,
