Hello all,
Has anyone noticed that there is a delay being able to access new messages in a Maildir via a POP client (to include telneting to port 110) after creating a sqwebmail connection via http for the first time? Sometimes this delay can be as much as 5 minutes or more.
We have qmail, vpopmail, & sqwebmail running. Before a user ever connects to their account via sqwebmail, email sent can be accessed as soon as it hits the Maildir. After accessing the account through the sqwebmail frontend, the mail delivered to the Maildir might not be available to the POP client for sometime. This occurs reqardless whether you ever use the sqwebmail frontend again for your account.
Question: Is there a built in delay in sqwebmail to allow control of the message to be changed? I am not sure if I asked the question correctly, but I am hoping that the spirit of my quandary is recognised.
Thank you,
