Subject: [sqwebmail] Restict IPs
You can easily hard-code the value of this checkbox by changing the checkboxI understand that I am very much the newbie and I am probably asking about a very simple process, however I have the need/desire to disable (preferably remove) the "Restrict IP" check box. I have noticed that some
to a hidden field.
For instance, the following code (in login.html):
<td align="right" valign="top"><input type="checkbox"
checked="checked" name="sameip"></td>
<td colspan="2">Restrict access to your IP address<br>
only (increased security)</td>
Would become:
<td align="right" valign="top"><input type="hidden"
value="checked" name="sameip"></td>
Pretty sure that will work just fine. (But it's untested)
Good luck.

users passwords will occasionally stop working, currently I am assuming
that they are inadvertently using the IP check box and browsing from
behind Firewalls using multiple public class C's for their NAT pools. I
am further assuming that the IP they are browsing from is changing between
sessions, and that is why occasionally they get login errors. I would
find most useful any docs/FAQ's someone could send me regarding how that
checkbox works, and what files it stores IPs in etc . . .
Thank you all for reading / helping
