I'm pretty sure that the 20030215 is the latest development build, and as such, I targeted my patch at that build. Yeah, it seems to be working great. And BTW, I ended up using the HTTP_HOST CGI environment variable after all. It was a perfect fit. Also, including the 'domainmap' file doesn't mean that EVERY host has to be an IP-alias or DOMAIN-alias host. The new code only kicks in if it finds a match in the 'domainmap' file to the SERVER_ADDR or HTTP_HOST variables. Happy testing.
