I use Sqwebmail from Courier v 0.30 and I have compiled it with the
following options:
./configure \
--prefix=/opt/courier/ \
--with-authmysql \
--localstatedir=/var/spool/mailqueue/ \
--enable-unicode \
--enable-https \
--enable-webpass=uwmail \
--enable-hardtimeout=43200 \
--enable-softtimeout=43200 \
--with-extended-authmysql \
--with-maxmsgsize=5767168 \
--with-maxformargsize=5242880
I have three version of SqWebmail: Polish Latin-2, Polish ASCII and English
and SqWebmail works well for me. There are contents of the CHARSET files:
$ cat /opt/courier/share/sqwebmail/html/pl-pl/CHARSET
iso-8859-2
$ cat /opt/courier/share/sqwebmail/html/pl-ascii/CHARSET
iso-8859-1
$ cat /opt/courier/share/sqwebmail/html/en-us/CHARSET
iso-8859-1
