I have a box that I setup with qmail/vpopmail/qmailamdin/sqwebmail along
time ago (about a year or so) that was sitting in my basement and sorta
dropped the project. I recently picked up that project again and in trying
to see what was working I came across this error when trying to login to
sqwebmail (from /var/log/messages):
"sqwebmail maildircache create failure cannot change to bin"
I can setup users and passwords via the comand line through
/home/vpopmail/bin, but I can't access accounts via sqwebmail. I just got
dns working today to the box so I have not tried sending any test messages
to it yet, or tried to get/send mail via pop3.
Any ideas on what is going on? This is an IBM PC 350 (Pentium II) machine
running Redhat 7.3 - I have basic/intermediate system admin skills but I
don't work in IT so if this is a newbish help question, forgive me in advance.
