On Windoze, a mailto: link starts up the local e-mail client (typically Outlook our Outlook Express). I am wondering if it's possible to have a link that takes sqwebmail directly to the message creation screen. There could be two possibilities:
1) pre-authenticated - sqwebmail asks for username/password and then goes directly to the message creation screen, with the To/Cc/etc filled. 2) authenticated - user has already authenticated by some other mean (webserver authentication, for example) so go directly to the message screen. I am building an internal website with numerous e-mail links. Since our company has standardized on sqwebmail for e-mail it'd be nice to have a way to trigger a new message. I don't want to use a CGI form because then the outgoing e-mail won't be automatically saved in the Sent box. Thanks, TIm
