hi all-

we just upgraded our hd last week. since then, when folks have hard/permanent failures when sending emails to non-existant email addresses, they get the usual bounce "UNDELIVERABLE MAIL" emails from "'Courier mail server at me' <@>" every 5 minutes.

some folks ended up with hundreds of them.

i checked the courier man file <http://www.courier-mta.org/courier.html> and others and thought that maybe it's the retry*** control files, but it seems that permanent failures should end after the bounce and that's that.

if i delete the /msgs and /msgq folder contents, they stop receiving them. makes sense.

what's going on?

thanks!
dave
