Hy to all of you!
Since it's the first time I'm using a mailing list,
I hope I'm sending this message to the right place.
Anyway, this is what I've got:
Red Hat 9 as my linux
distribution (I've updated my glibg to 2.3.2)
qmail-1.03 as mail
server
vpopmail-5.3.20
sqwebmail-3.5.3
All of them simes to work great except for one
single problem
conserning the access through Internet Explorer to
my emails:
At the begining I was getting the great
message
"Invalid User Id Or
Password"
once or maybe twice a day and after restarting the authdaemond
things were back to normal.
I've tried several solutions to make things work
(solutions found in
the last two days of browsing the internet), but
without success.
At this momment I can say that I can make the
sqwebmail to fail
whenever I want. All I have to do is to login with
a username of 8
characters +
"@mydomain.com" (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]),
logout, and then try to log in with a user of just
5 caracters +
"@mydomain.com" (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and get the
"Invalid User Id Or Password" page.
If anyone has solved this problem please post your
solution. Otherwise,
I hope that what I've noticed will help those who
can think of a solution.
