Howdy list, I have just pushed a new template into production here:
http://mail.wingnet.net (Just click on the top webmail link) User Id: template-test Password: test Please don't send any emails using this account. If you do, I'll have to delete it and actually figure out how to prevent emails from being sent from the account programmatically. I'm lazy. Please don't make me work. I will, however, be happy to provide this template to the sqwebmail community if the repository maintainer would just tell me how he wants it packaged. Key template benefits: ============== 1.) Netscape 4.x compatible. 2.) Tested on Mozilla 1.x, netscape 6.2, netscape 7.x, Netscape 4.7, 4.8, Netscape 4.08 (works, but tables render very slowly sometimes), IE 6.x, latest Opera, Konqueror 3.1.2. 3.) Tested to be reasonable in 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, and 1600x1200. I recommend 800x600 or 1024x768. 4.) Can be used as a drop in replacement for the original sqwebmail template. All features were kept. This is intended to be an improvement over the original in terms of browser compatibility and [#include: ...#] usage. 5.) Many places where code was being duplicated across templates have now been consolodated into one page with [#include: ... #] tags. 6.) New images. They are modified gnome GPL icons. 7.) ALL html has been auto indented by VIM. 8.) actually 4k lighter than the original. But that is with the increased use of [#include: ...#] tags, so outputted HTML is a bit heavier than the original. NOTE: This template requires the imageurl patch I released a few days ago. AFAIK, this patch hasn't made it into a release yet, but Sam says he will include it in the next one. I still have a good bit of work to do with the CSS stylesheet: I need to clean everything up and audit. Other than that, it's ready for production...
