Did you start sqwebmail's authdaemond? If you have courier-imap running successfully then you can use the identical authentication configs for sqwebmail (i.e. authdaemonrc, authmysqlrc) However, courier-imap doesn't work with cyrus-sasl as far as I know, so it seems likely that you are using some other POP3 server?
